About the Seminar
If you are looking for an international human rights seminar, this is your opportunity. Applications for the 24th ASEF Seminar 2026 are now open. It is the 24th Informal Seminar on Human Rights (ASEMHRS24), organised by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 12–14 October 2026. Young leaders, civil society representatives, academics, policymakers and human rights practitioners from Asia and Europe will come together to discuss today’s human rights challenges.
This year’s theme is “The Future of Human Rights: From Local to Global.” Participants will exchange experiences and explore innovative approaches to strengthening human rights protection. After the seminar, a limited number of participants will be invited to a two-day Capacity-Building Program on 15–16 October.
